Remaining days @ Starbucks

BurppP..Alhamdulillah. I just had my break fast. Lot of rezeki on the table, and i got back my energy for today. Its a tiring day, sliding, take order, iniate conversation with the customers, pull the espresso shot, steam the milk and exposed with too much noise from the blender. But i really had fun today!

Its almost 16 months ive been working as a part time barista @ Starbucks Taman Universiti #025, and yet i still have another month before i graduated (InsyaAllah) and resign from the store. Today Muizz a.k.a my manager gave out Partner Performance Feedback...overall i managed to score above the par, and most of them are excellent:). However, deep inside my heart i feel a lil' bit sad since its going to be the last Partner Feedback Performance i ever had from Starbucks.

If you ask me what i loved the most about Starbucks, my answer will be the team that we had in the store, passion towards coffee, and the experience to be in Starbucks Coffee Company. The company is awesome! all the business strategies and plan realy inspire me and give me the thoughts how genius is the jew (since the founder is a jew), which indirectly make me realize that there are something positive we should learn from them.Espeacially in managing business!. Nevertheless, the most precious thing about working in Starbucks is about the coffee itself. I never believe myself that i will go this far about coffee in my whole life. Tons to tell when i start to bebel about coffee:) maybe in some other day ait...and soon i will write more Starbucks ok.

Are U in MooD for Syawal?

Salam

Its already 28th Ramadhan, which means Syawal is just around the corner, predicted on this Saturday.At the age of 23, Syawal is not the same as it was when i were 10 or 11 years old. It is just different and I prefer to see it from the positive point of view.

Somehow at this age i realized how important is Syawal, and how does it impact my feelings towards my family. Especially my mak, sisters and brothers. Which i never care during my childhood's Syawal celebration.(Because i concentrate more on collecting for Duit Raya from house to house). It is the feelings of pure love, sense of belonging, and the feeling of the true blood that i have in my vein. Simply it is the feeling on sacrificing at each other tho it is my life as the stake, and of course the feeling that this thing will never come to an end.

I cant wait to step on the soil of my hometown, and breath the fresh air of the sea. I cant wait to see the smiles on my mak's face waiting for..and of corse to have her cook till im full.:)

And not to forget to all of you, espeacially my syg..i long to wait celebrating raya with u each year til the day i die:) Hepi Eid Mubarak to all and may god bless u all.

Harga tol dijangka naik 10% menjelang Januari 2008 bagi semua harga tol di atas. Pada hemat penulis, acapkali harga tol dinaikkan sehingga menimbulkan rasa tidak puas hati pada banyak pihak. Bukan itu sahaja, dengar cerita juga harga minyak pun dijangka naik lagi. Bagi Gred RON97, harga dijangka naik sehingga RM2 seliter berbanding dengan harga sekarang RM1.92. Susah lah macam ni, kadang-kadang terfikir juga di benak penulis untuk "convert" kereta menggunakan NGV, lebih menjimatkan!

I went there after sahur this morning from Skudai and reach there around 9 a.m. Pergi pun bukan saja2 makan angin atau melihat negeri orang, tapi dengan niat menziarah abang ipar aku punya ibu yang baru sahaja meninggal dunia. Innalillahi wainna ilaihi raji`un.Allahyarhamah ku panggil dengan gelaran ibu. Beliau seorang muslimah yang baik, tak pernah sekali pun aku dengar beliau mengata pasal orang, dan berani aku katakan susah nak jumpa manusia yang tak bercakap pasal orang lain, atau dalam erti kata lain "mengumpat".

Princess blogging in : Hiyaa im back..let me jez add in some feminine touch to dis blog ere n lighten da mud up shall we? heh :) lemme start now..well, see dis morning, the day jez started off jumpy for me with me squintin at my fon, seeing all the missed calls there. It was the plant calling for water disruption (after gas prob, water leaking and pits flooding..tel u its been a crazy week).N now on a saturday,this..sigh.I never miss hearing my fon wen im asleep, its jez sumtink dat i didn't do. But i did.Somehow i slept right thru..Well, i've been pretty 'lucky' all week rite? Lets jez all wait till monday n see how roasted it'l be, k? So now im here, in da office just hanging around not doing netink n im tinkin of writing, yes siree..another blog.A 2nd blog.hiw..basically ive got nothin to speak of. Other than how different my life is, now that im working. Responsibilities and discipline is soo not da thing for me. Ask anyone..dey'll know..Waking up in da mornin? Police have arrested four men and a woman in connection with the murder of eight-year-old Nurin Jazlin Jazimin whose body was found stuffed in a sportsbag in Petaling Jaya on Sept 17.

Federal CID director Datuk Christopher Wan Soo Kee said in a statement today the murder suspects, aged between 27 and 33, were picked up at 11.30pm yesterday based on public information.

He said the five suspects were rounded up in Shah Alam.

Wan said two cars and five handphones were also seized from the suspects.

Yesteray, Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Musa Hassan said police have sought the help of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to solve the murder of Nurin who was also sexually assaulted sadistically.

Musa said the FBI had agreed to provide technical support in the efforts to nab the killer/s .

He said a FBI officer based in the US embassy here and another who will arrive from the US will be working hand in hand with investigators here. Musa said a local police officer will also be flying to the US with a copy of a CCTV footage which captured images of the alleged killer.

"FBI will use their skills and technology to enhance and edit the blurred images which will then be used to identify the suspect," he added.

When asked if a suspect has been nabbed as reported by a wire news agency late Wednesday (Sept 26), Musa retorted: "Where did you hear this? It is untrue. Stop speculating as it can affect our investigations and also court proceedings in future.

"We will announce it when the culprit is caught. As for now our investigations are ongoing and we have positive leads to the case. Just be patient and let us investigate."

The case has several police teams from Bukit Aman, Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya working round-the -lock to track down the killer.

Sources said police are closing in on the suspects based on the the intelligence they have gathered after the girl went missing during a visit to a night market near her house in Wangsa Maju on Aug 20.

Her parents, with the help of the media, police, corporate bodies and other uniformed bodies launched a nationwide search for their child until her decomposed body was found on Sept 17. A DNA test confirmed the identity of the body three days later.

Buah Naga dari seberang

Sejak akhir2 ni fenomena Buah Naga aku lihat semakin berleluasa di Malaysia. Dari Kluang ke Pontian hatta di tampin dan Bahau pun rata-rata tanaman kelapa sawit dah diganti dengan buah naga. Frankly, im not too favor with this dragon fruit because of the taste. Tak ada rasa maa, dan most of them ada rase masam. but i do believe that this dragon fruit means a lot to the chinese...maybe because of the red color. Buah naga juga mengandungi zat besi untuk menambah darah; vitamin B1 (mengawal kepanasan badan); vitamin B2 (menambah selera); vitamin B3 (menurunkan kadar kolesterol) dan kandungan vitamin C yang tinggi(menambah kelicinan, kehalusan kulit serta mencegah jerawat). Dek kerana kandungan Vitamin C yang tinggi itu, rumah aku sekarang ni tengah mencuba formula kosmetik terbaru yang menjadikan buah naga sebagai mask. Fenomena pelik di rumah aku ni aku sedari semenjak 2 hari lepas bila akak aku dan anak buah aku kelihatan "merah" selepas bersahur. sekali tengok macam baru balik upacara keagamaan, tapi rupanya tengah pakai mask buah naga. Lokasi store ni kat Jaya Jusco Wangsa Maju..kalau korang nak pergi naik LRT je sto kat station Jelatek nanti nampak lah Jaya Jusco tu. Store ni tak salah aku store #083. Dalam malysia ni ada lebih kurang seratus lebih outlet Starbucks...dan setiap store diberikan number masing2. Untuk pengetahuan korang gak, setiap outlet starbuck menawarkan perkhidmatan Wifi percuma tok customer2, tapi bulan ramadhan ni korang selambe je cakap korang puasa, nanti faham2 lah barista yang ada bagi korang duduk surfing free hehe. Store ni agak besar lah jugak berbanding dengan store2 yang aku pernah pergi, diketuai dengan managernya yang agak tua bernama Kak Ros, hehe selambe aku tulis pasal orang. Aku rase cukuplah ni sebagai post pertama aku mengenai starbucks...insyaAllah i will write more stories about Sarbuck coz i know there are tons of u who love Starbucks. Adios

The fees?mahal gak la, my advice is start menabung heh.rm15/person for normal gondola, dan kene kongsi 8 orang satu normal gondola. they also have this what so called VVIP gondola for the price up to Rm200, ridiculous iznit? but i know whats in ur mind..u wanna be in the gondola 2 person only with ur love one rite?kacang goreng je..my tips: dont go there on weekend..and tell the gatekeeper that u are about to propose ur GF to be ur wife..confirm dapat naik 2 orang je satu gondala dan siap dapat tambah 2 round free lagi...kan inda kan?:p ow guys...not to forget lake Titiwangsa also have the musical fountain like what they have in Sentosa Spore, but not great as Sentosa one la...herm...i still remember lying on Inda lap at Sentosa musical Fountain sebab terlalu penat...jgn jelesh;p so ape tunggu lagi...benda alah nih hanye di mSia till October je sebab Msia hanya sewa je, thanx to Inda for the info kalau tak aku takkan tahu.adios..
